Winter service is dominated by climate and local weather events. How will climate change affect winter conditions and how will it affect winter services? How can winter service organizations respond considering a benefit/cost analysis? What are appropriate planning periods and opportunities for technology development, new or updated strategies, and quality control of performance necessary to respond to climate change? This session deals with current and potential impacts of climate change on winter service.
